Michele Godwin joined Tow Consulting Group after seventeen years in the towing industry, assuming the role of principal for the team. In her position, she will continue the commitment of the group to provide an avenue for towing professionals to establish and maintain positive employee and business practices that will ultimately reduce operating costs and improve net profits. Prior to joining Tow Consulting Group, Michele was co-owner of Sebastopol Towing and is currently the Marketing Director for the California Tow Truck Association. |
Michele’s philosophy is simple: to establish a consulting organization that handles all aspects of a tow company’s business needs. This includes assisting companies with employee policies, dispatch and tow operator training, customized employee manuals to meet their business needs and providing consulting services. This consulting will assist company owners with an analysis of areas in their business where changes may increase customer and employee satisfaction, reducing customer and employee turnover, improving cash flow and increasing their bottom line.
Michele did not have an individual or organization to turn for this type of valuable support during her days of owning a tow company and had to learn things the hard way. Offering hands on experience from running her own successful tow company, Michele provides a company owner the opportunity to get support with employee and business matters that are towing specific.
Michele attended San Diego State College where she majored in accounting and business management. She is a past treasurer for the California Tow Truck Association and has received the Member of the Year award. Michele has successfully run the Western States Tow Show for the last six years.
